About These Terms
These terms cover the heating services provided by Eco Heat Surge (Yorkshire) Ltd, a family-run, Gas Safe registered company based in Tankersley, Barnsley, serving Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Wakefield and the wider South Yorkshire area. By asking us to quote for or carry out work, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and Pricing
We provide a free, no-obligation survey before quoting. Every quote is a fixed price, given in writing with the work itemised and no hidden charges. A quote reflects the property and the information available at the time of survey. If the work needed changes materially once started, for example a hidden pipework fault, we will explain it and agree any change with you before carrying on.
Booking and Payment
Once you accept a written quote, we will agree an installation or service date with you. The payment terms that apply are set out on your quote or invoice. Where a deposit applies, it will be agreed with you in writing before any work begins.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move a booking, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. Where we have already ordered specific parts or materials for your job, we may ask you to cover their cost. We will always make this clear before you commit.
Workmanship, Certificates and Warranties
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and notified to Building Control through the Gas Safe scheme where required. As approved installers for Ideal and Alpha Heating, we register the manufacturer warranty in your name where the boiler is eligible. Manufacturer warranties require the boiler to be serviced once a year to stay valid. Any workmanship guarantee we offer will be confirmed in writing on your paperwork.
Finance
Where finance is available, it is provided through a regulated third-party lender and is subject to status. The lender’s own terms apply to your agreement with them. We will explain the options clearly at the quote stage so you can choose what suits you.
Your Responsibilities
So we can complete the work safely and on time, please give us reasonable access to the property, a working gas and electricity supply, and accurate information about your system. Please tell us in advance about anything that might affect the job, such as restricted access or a known fault.
Our Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Beyond that, our responsibility is to put right defective work that we are responsible for.

If something is not right, please contact us first on 01226 885022 or at info@ecoheatsurge.com so we can put it right. For anything relating to gas safety, you can also contact the Gas Safe Register.
Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to its courts. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page when you engage us is the one that applies.
